Skilled for success is a 10 week program that provides youth aged 15 - 30 that are facing barriers to employment the opportunity to develop new employment skills through skills training, paid work experience at BGC, job readiness supports, job shadowing, and mentorship.

The Details
Skilled 4 Success runs over the course of 10 weeks and offers part-time employment 20 hours/week. The program consists of:
2 weeks of virtual training
8 weeks of hands-on employment and training in different areas of BGC

Youth will Receive:
20 hours paid training time
$100 bonus for completing the training modules
8 weeks paid work experience
$250 bonus for completing the program

Where: BGC Olds and Area. Positions vary from within the daycare, out of school care, and youth or admin programs
